How much does it cost?

HOW MUCH IS A WEBSITE?

Every website is different. Every business has different goals for their website. We build websites especially for your brand to target your ideal client, and to pursue your personal business goals. Asking how much a website will cost, is like asking how much a car will cost, or how much does a meal cost, or how much does a house cost. What kind of car, meal or house do you want? We need to understand what the website will need to do, what the purpose is for the website, if it will need to interact with other software, and how it will need to look. That’s why we ask for this form to be completed if you’re interested in a quote. It only takes around 10 minutes to complete and collects all the key info we need so we can give you a quote. We offer personalised service so you can expect our head designer and business owner, Louise to be with you for the entire ride – and into the future if you need advice or tech support.

As mentioned above, we create websites to suit YOUR brand and to achieve YOUR goals so investments differ. To give you a rough idea though, new websites start at around the 2K mark.

HOW MUCH DOES LOGO DESIGN COST?

Logo design is a very important investment for your business. It is the first impression for potential customers looking to purchase your product. When building your brand, as experienced designers we consider a range of complex factors. We create each element of your brand based on how you wish to interact with your audience. No business is the same – different markets, different goals, different voices, different stories. We’ve been designing logos professionally for over seven years now. We’ve made the process on your end very simple, so that you can relax knowing that qualified professionals are looking after the face of your business. Investment in logo design begins at $550 which includes 4 initial professionally designed logo concepts and 2 rounds of amends of your chosen concept for further development. Once approved, you’ll be supplied with files ready to be used online, for printed goods, and for professional signage. You’ll be supplied with your approved logo as an EPS file which can be given to any professional print provider. This file will allow you to use your logo very small – for business cards for example, or massive on a billboard with perfect clarity. We design logos to be timeless so you can continue using your logo forever if you wish. We offer ongoing support too, so if you ever have any questions about your logo or branding you can email us at any time in the future. We’ll be here. HOW MUCH DOES GRAPHIC DESIGN COST?

Each project is quoted based on our hourly rate. Our hourly rate is $90 AUD. We are well-practiced professionals, so some jobs will only take us an hour while complex projects will take longer. The easiest way to get a price is to email us. Tell us what you need and when you need it by, and we’ll email you a quote.

How long does a website take? What's the process?

HOW LONG DOES A WEBSITE TAKE TO MAKE?

Simple websites can take 3-4 weeks. More complex websites including those with shopping carts or multiple, function-rich pages can take 6-8 weeks. The timeframe ultimately depends on how quickly you respond to us with your feedback and how concise your feedback is. In our terms and conditions, we state that website projects are to be completed within a 3-month period to avoid additional costs caused by delays. Projects begin once the deposit payment is made.

WHAT’S THE PROCESS FOR WEBSITE DESIGN?

  1. You complete this digital form about your website requirements.
  2. If we need more info we’ll email you, or if we have everything we need we’ll email you back with a quote for your website.
  3. You approve the quote by email if you wish to go ahead.
  4. We’ll send you the invoice for your project, requesting the 50% deposit to be paid which will book your project in.
  5. Once the 50% deposit has been paid, we’ll email you with a list of any information required to go ahead, such as the text and image content for the website (we offer professional copywriting services, and stock images if you’d like us to take care of these aspects for you).
  6. When we have all content required for the website, we will begin the design process. We will have the initial website review to you within two weeks for your feedback and approval. The website will be hidden from public view during the review process.
  7. The progress payment of 25% will be due to continue with the development of your website. We will email you to request this payment.
  8. Two rounds of changes are included in all website packages. During the review stage we can change text, images and other elements as needed. We’ll email you with any requested changes made, for you to view and consider.
  9. Once you have approved your website by email, we will finalise any last features and complete testing.
  10. The final 25% payment for the project is due. Once paid, your website will go live.

How long does a logo take to be designed? What's the process?

HOW LONG DOES LOGO DESIGN TAKE?

We can complete your logo design project within 1-2 weeks. The timeframe ultimately depends on how quickly you respond to us with your feedback and how concise your feedback is.

WHAT’S THE PROCESS FOR LOGO DESIGN?

  1. You complete this digital form about your requirements. This will take 5-10 minutes.
  2. If we need more info we’ll email you, or if we have everything we need we’ll email you back right away with a quote.
  3. You approve the quote by email if you wish to go ahead.
  4. We’ll send you the invoice for your project, requesting the 50% deposit to be paid which will book your project in.
  5. Once the 50% deposit has been paid, we’ll begin the design process. We’ll email you the initial artwork concepts for your logo within 7 days for your feedback and approval.
  6. Two rounds of changes are included in all logo design packages. We can change the text, colours, layout, and icons / graphics used for your preferred artwork. We’ll email you with any requested changes made, for you to view and consider.
  7. Once you have approved your logo by email, we’ll finalise the artwork and format the logo into various files for online and print application.
  8. The final 50% payment for the project is due. We will remind you by email to make final payment.
  9. Once paid in full, we’ll supply you with your completed logo files and a style guide which outlines how the files can be used, and the colours / fonts used in your logo so that you can ensure consistency across future marketing projects.

How long do graphic design jobs take, like business cards or a flyer? What's the process?

HOW LONG DO OTHER GRAPHIC DESIGN JOBS TAKE?

We can complete your graphic design project within 1-2 weeks. The timeframe ultimately depends on how quickly you respond to us with your feedback and how concise your feedback is. We’ve been known to have jobs completed within just a couple of days, but we don’t promise this as it depends on the complexity of the project and on how much work we already have booked in during that time.

WHAT’S THE PROCESS FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN JOBS LIKE BUSINESS CARDS, FLYERS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS?

  1. Tell us what you need designed and when you need it by.
  2. If we need more info we’ll email you, or if we have everything we need we’ll email you back right away with a quote.
  3. You approve the quote by email if you wish to go ahead.
  4. We’ll send you the invoice for your project, requesting the 50% deposit to be paid which will book your project in. If your project total is less than $500, the full amount will be requested to be paid in full before we begin.
  5. Once the requested deposit has been paid, we’ll begin the design process. We’ll email you the initial low-res proof within 2-7 days for your feedback and approval.
  6. Two rounds of changes are included in all design packages. We can change the text, colours, layout, and icons / images / graphics used. We’ll email you with an updated low-res proof for you to consider.
  7. Once you have approved the project proof by email, we’ll finalise the artwork / document for digital or print use as required.
  8. Any outstanding invoice amount is due. We will remind you by email to make final payment.
  9. Once paid in full, we’ll supply you with the completed project files.
Do websites need to be maintained? Can I make changes myself to my website?

CAN I EDIT MY OWN WEBSITE?

Absolutely! Once your website is live, we’ll supply you with logins to the WordPress Dashboard for your website. WordPress is a Content Management System (CMS) which was initially created to allow everyday people to manage their own blog sites. You can login any time on your desktop or even use the official WordPress App for changes on the go. What you’ll be able to do once logged in will depend on what you website can do. You will be able to edit the text on pages and create blog posts yourself at a minimum. If included in your website package, you’ll be able to do other things, such as: track enquiries, view statistics on the visitors of your website, manage product orders and users, and create new products yourself.  You may wish to ask us, or another WordPress professional to make changes for you if you don’t feel confident. Once saved, changes will be live right away for the public to see, so it’s best to only edit things that you know how to do. A huge amount of resources can be found online if you wish to become a WordPress CMS guru!

DO YOU OFFER WEB EDITING TRAINING?

I personally record a custom ‘how-to’ video for you once your website is live. This video shows you how to do things on your site that you may like to look after yourself such as editing text on pages, and creating blog posts. If you would like additional personal training to be put together in a comprehensive user manual, or to have a private lesson via Skype, simply ask us to book an appointment for you. These additional services will incur fees based on our hourly rate of $90.

WHAT WEBSITE MAINTENANCE PLANS DO HUMANISED OFFER? IS MAINTENANCE IMPORTANT?

The creators of WordPress CMS are amazing tech wizards who are constantly finding ways to improve the software in terms of functionality, practicality and security. With cyber space being filled with security threats and malware attacks, updating software is more important now than ever before. Once we complete your website, you can choose not to update features if you wish. You’re in charge here, captain! However, we highly recommend updating WordPress software and plugins when they become available to keep your website in tip-top shape and secure for your users. Would you buy a shiny new car, drive it every day, never get it serviced and expect it to work perfectly for a really long time?

We offer website security, maintenance + backup options, starting at only $19 / month. There are 3 options available: E-Commerce / High Performance Plan $89 / month, Website Essentials Plan $69 / month, Backups Only Plan $19 / month. Plans can be booked in 3, 6 or 12 month bundles. 6 month bundle = pay for 5, get 1 free. 12 month bundle = pay for 10, get 2 free. Our director / head designer Louise personally works on each and every single website to ensure quality maintenance is provided.
